Partners Ian MacKintosh and Diana Wright began their careers working for Eleanor Lambert, best known as the pioneer for the CFDA, the creator of the International Best Dressed List and the Coty Awards.

Inspired by Eleanor's legacy, Ian and Diana co-founded ILIAD Communications & Production in 1999.

Ian:

  • Bio featured in Stylemakers: Inside Fashion. The book is a behind-the-scenes look at people in the fashion industry. 
  • Included in feature story “Fashion Club” in March 2003 issue of Razor magazine as “The Conductor” of fashion shows with other notables in the fashion industry.
  • Quoted as a business authority on the rising cost of luxury goods in the spring/summer 2004 issue of the Financial Times.
  • Director of Publicity for Eleanor Lambert, the premiere luxury-lifestyle publicity agency in New York, for seven years.
  • Began career with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

Diana:

  • Aide in the Giuliani Administration: Developed and managed programs for the city including the New York City Host Committee for the 1998 GRAMMY Awards, New York City Host Committee for the Republican National Committee 2000 Convention, City Hall’s Blue Room Restoration and Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s children’s book, What Will You Be?
  • Washington D.C. correspondent for the Great Falls Tribune in Montana.
  • Chicago beat reporter: Covered Chicago-area features, fashion and crime beats.
  • Freelance features writer for the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Reporter and Chicago Reader.
  • Began career as publicist and ghost writer for Eleanor Lambert.
